Ugly Sisters

On the day The Female Eunuch is issued in America, a transgender woman in flapping draperies rushes up to Germaine Greer and says: thank you - thank you so much for all you’ve done for us girls.

Ugly Sisters is an operatic, heretic, parasitic and hallucinatory retelling of this very moment, of sisterhood, of all feminist history.

Ugly Sisters received the Queer Performers Award 2024 (Binge Fringe) for its run at The Edinburgh Fringe.

Fuckboy

Fuckboy is a one-person play exploring gender dysphoria, bodily autonomy and celebrity crushes from a trans perspective. It follows Frankie, who is on the District Line, drunk and with a pair of scissors in their coat pocket. Meanwhile, their past self is in a club struggling to find a hair tie, their future self is in therapy insisting they’re not insane, and their imaginary self is having a passionate love affair with Andrew Garfield. As these four realities come together, Frankie learns more about who they are and who they want to be, and ultimately decides whether or not to put those scissors to good use.

Fuckboy received the Queer Performers Award 2024 (Binge Fringe) and the Award for Best LGBTQ+ Production 2024 (The Stagey Place) for its run at The Edinburgh Fringe.

Your Christmas Carol Experience: A New Immersive Adventure

This is not A Christmas Carol as you’ve seen it before. There’s no Scrooge and we’re not in Victorian times. We invite you instead to engage with your own story, your own connections, and your own memories and imaginations for a truly unique experience. And because it’s yours, it will never happen again…

Along with the actors and a mentalist, the audience members will reconnect with past moments and imagine the future in a profound way.

Shabbat & Shalom Present: Gaga Mitzvah

PAY THE JEWS BACK with love, laughter and fresh blood. We’ve started up shop in your neighborhood, and we’re offering absurd comedy performance that celebrates queer Jewish identity, food filled rituals and nightlife. The show's narrative unfolds through a series of powerful club scenes blending the absurd and the raunchy, which develop into a warm and wild collective ritual, with food (of course). Hide your children, watch out. Shabbat and Shalom will snatch you away and strap you into an an emotional rollercoaster. Expect moments of laughter, shock, and discomfort and a couple of bagels. They’re experts at creating (un)relatable humor without compromising their unique trans Jewish identity. Unpaid, of course.

Diary of a Gay Disaster

A new musical comedy where three queer women get to grips with their gay panic the only way they know how: singing, and a lot of shots.

When Ellis moves in with Mia and Finlay - flatmates she found on the internet - she finds herself bonding with them a lot faster than she expected when they discover her teenage diary and insist on making a very long (and very gay) night out of reading it.

This show has since gone on to win the 2025 Whats On Stage Award for Best Studio Production.

Video Killed the Scenery Star

How Reliant is Modern Theatre on Video Design and Projection? Video design and projection is something that is extensively used in modern theatre. I wanted to do an analysis into this, look at how and why video design is used, and see if it is possible to remove it, seeing if the creation of modern theatre is possible without modern technology. To do this I built a set to stage scenes from the play ‘How To Build a Wax Figure’ by Isabella Waldron, a show that regularly mentions projection in the playtext, and created it to exist without video design or projection. I also researched deeper into video design, analyzing it as an art form as opposed to a technical skill.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid

Based on the original classic story and the beloved 1989 Disney animation of the same name, this is the tale of a mermaid who, obsessed with all of the ‘stuff’ that sinks into the sea, yearns for a life in the world above the water’s surface… This inventive and surprising production for all the family features the iconic songs ‘Part of Your World’ and ‘Under the Sea’.

Fort.London Trans Nude Calendar 2023

This calendar was made for charity, in support of building a multi-practice, non-profit, sober queer creative space in the heart of east London. In this space, we will tell our own stories and we will celebrate our own lives. In this calendar, there are thirteen stunning prints. One cover plus twelve months. Featuring an all-trans cast of fifty-eight people. Made by an all-trans crew of twenty-one people. Coming together to build something different and celebrate our bodies, on our terms. For our causes.

This year, we're not asking for permission. This year, we are building our own homes and finding our own heavens. This year, we're building a FORT.

Blind Who Now Has Eyes

This performance, inspired by Sophocles’ “Oedipus Rex”, responds to the utilitarian architecture of the empty former Archway Whittington Hospital, Furnival building. The performance leads the audience through the unraveling of the central character, Detective O, as his intention to solve a murder brings to light dark secrets and terrifying prophecies.
